The chief aim of the Data Alignment Manager module is to integrate data from different sources into a common reference system such as GPS coordinates, odometer or surface references. This task can be accomplished both in the form of alignment tables and – to find patterns visually – in a graphical display. To speed up the process, the user is supported by features such as reverse alignment and a semi-automatic point search. Since inspection data analysis depends on the quality of data integration, the Data Alignment Manager makes a fundamental contribution to pipeline integrity management.
