The ROSEN Standardized Pipeline Data Warehouse (SPDW) provides an effective system database for pipeline integrity management.
The core of any pipeline integrity management system is its information database. Although different names are used to describe this database (System Database, Pipeline Network Database, Information Management System etc.) it is essentially a repository for all pipeline-related data. While the content of the database will be dictated by clients’ needs and their financial resources, it should include the following elements:
- Design and basic pipeline data
- Manufacturing and construction data
- Geodetic, pipeline geometry and route data
- Relevant operational data
- Pipeline components
- Internal inspection and survey data
- Business/financial information, if required.
The full service includes an assessment of the available data, reformatting for system compatibility (if required), provision of the appropriate hardware and software and data input.
