The combination of increasing environmental concerns and more stringent regulations has led to an intensification of preventive maintenance for piping systems.
NDT tools available for API 570 inspections:
API 570 inspection scope:
- All inspections are performed by an API 570-certified survey engineer and an NDT specialist using the most appropriate inspection method.
- All immediately required repairs are reported to the client without delay.
- An isometric drawing of the pipe is generated containing all inspection findings and piping references, e.g. supports, valves, reducers, etc.
- Indication of remaining asset life based on pipe design and inspection codes.
- Anomalies are assessed in accordance with applicable design code (e.g. ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4) and ASME B31G.
- Complete overview of the condition of the piping systems, including the recommended inspection interval and next inspection date.
- Recommended actions to bring the piping system into compliance with inspection / assessment codes, e.g. repairs, re-rating, maintenance, etc.
Integrity Management Plan for Piping Systems ROSEN offers a complete Integrity Management Plan consisting of:
- Inventory: Collection of information on the lines included in the project.
- Prioritization: A risk assessment is performed to classify the lines and prioritize the inspections.
- Inspection strategy: The expected degradation mechanisms are identified as a basis for selecting the most appropriate inspection and NDT methods when defining the initial inspection scope.
- Execution: Once the lines have been prioritized and a complete inspection plan is available, an API-certified survey engineer and an NDT specialist will carry out the inspection work.
