ROSEN USA recently earned the first Certificate of Registration from the American Petroleum Institute (API) for conformance with API Specification Q1. The scope of this registration includes API 1163, the recognized standard for the regulation of in-line inspection providers in the United States.

ROSEN USA is the first company to earn a Q1 certification that includes the in-line inspection services standard for the oil and gas pipeline industry.

Recognizing the need for quality assurance and standardization in the industry, ROSEN USA approached API requesting acknowledgment that our processes and procedures comply with 1163 requirements. API obliged this request by creating an additional audit process to confirm compliance with 1163 during an API Q1 Certification.

The API Q1 Standard is an umbrella document that, by reference, incorporates two additional standards: NACE RP 0102 and ASNT ILI-PQ.

ROSEN USA is currently certified for ISO 9001, ISO 18001, ISO 14001, and API Q1, and participates in regular QM and/or HSE audits at the request of clients.

By complying with these standards, our clients are ensured their vendor employs qualified personnel and operates qualified in-line inspection technologies.
