Using guiding and sealing discs of different materials and dimensions, ROSEN supplies the disc tool concept that offers the highest efficiency for a particular application. Guiding discs centralize the tool in the pipe while the sealing discs provide an excellent seal for outstanding cleaning and excellent separation.
For optimal cleaning results, ROSEN offers disc and cup-type tools:
The cup-type tool is ideal for applications under low pressure. Its movement is unidirectional. It is recommended that this tool type is used as one of the first steps in a cleaning program. This recommendation especially applies in cases where the amount of accumulated debris is unknown because the pipeline has not been cleaned for a long time. The risk of this tool becoming lodged is minimized due to the lower cleaning performance and lift-off effect of the cups.
The disc-type tool is ideal for dewatering, commissioning, and batching applications and for general cleaning activities. Standard configurations have bi-directional capability and a high cleaning performance.
